UTT Strengthens International Connections through Publishing Experience Exchange with Vietnamese and Chinese Partners

On 15 September 2026, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a working session with Shanghai People’s Publishing House (China) and the National Political Publishing House. The meeting provided an opportunity not only to exchange experience in editing, publishing and distribution, but also to explore new avenues for collaboration to enhance the value and reach of knowledge products, while promoting the University’s research activities and international academic integration.

Attending the working session, representatives from the National Political Publishing House included Mr. Vu Trong Lam - Director and Editor-in-Chief - together with representatives of its specialized units; representatives from Shanghai People’s Publishing House included Mr. Wen Zeyuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director - together with members of the delegation; representatives from the University of Transport Technology included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University, together with members of the Board of Rectors and representatives of the leadership of relevant units.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized the significance of strengthening connections between higher education institutions and reputable publishing houses. In a context where knowledge is increasingly becoming an important resource for development, publishing is not only the final stage in completing and disseminating a work, but also a bridge that brings research findings to the professional community and the wider public. Therefore, the experience shared at the working session is of practical significance to the University’s efforts to enhance the quality of research and scientific publishing and expand academic exchange.
